Welcome to the 6th module in the roadmap to building digital communities for social change: develop your strategies.

Purpose
After building your teams and partnerships, and setting up your platforms, it is now time to develop your strategies to make your platform “fit for purpose”. What kind of strategies do you need to reach your target audience? How can you monitor the performance of your platform? How can you create inclusive content?
In this module we will elaborate on three different strategies that are important to consider, and to localise, for your platform to create the impact that you intend to make. First, we will go into how your content strategy can be contextualised. In your content strategy, you need to detail how you intend to develop useful and inclusive content, based on the desired impact you want to achieve through the different channels. Next, we discuss developing an advocacy strategy. The overall advocacy framework produced by RNW Media can be used as a starting point to contextualise and look into the most relevant advocacy topics within your context. Finally, we will touch upon the data strategy, with guidelines on how to manage your data in accordance with data protection laws and responsible data frameworks.
