Welcome to module 7.1 in the roadmap to building digital communities for social change: create SRHR content.

Purpose
This module focuses on creating digital content for the online community. As such, it is written with the assumption that the content creators should have pre-existing knowledge and expertise on the specific thematic focus, in this case sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The content creators are experts on rights and evidence based SRHR and using the pleasure approach. With that basis, this module guides the experts to create online sexuality informational and educational content that is engaging and relevant for users, by utilising multiple online communication channels and digital formats.
The module starts with introducing the persuasive storytelling methodology to content creation. Next, we will look at the different types of SRHR content and how to select the SRHR topics for your platform. This includes assessing your topics against international guidelines on sexuality education, but also assessing the risks of writing about these topics in your specific context, while still “pushing the boundaries” when deemed appropriate. The module concludes with examples of different digital formats that can increase user engagement and SRHR knowledge retention.
