A typical training day combines a number of face-to-face online sessions as well as individual and group work sessions. Providing variety will break monotony. However, it is not advised to exceed more than 5 hours of online time. Consider alternatives to long training days.
Online training durations vary; however, online training should have breaks like any other session. Breaks should be taken every 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes. Encourage participants to move and stretch and try and get some fresh air away from a screen. If you have a longer training day, make sure to also include a longer lunch break.
TIP! Use music to indicate time slots (breaks, working individually offline). When the music stops, it is a sign that participants have to return to the plenary session.
