Assignment 1.3: Online Research Tools

The purpose of this final assignment is to apply relevant tools based on the research methods to collect and analyse information for your research.

Go back to your country context template. Review column 1.2.2 additional information with your determined research methods and check the feedback column for any tips for improvement or adjustment of your chosen methods.

• Now check out the overview to determine each tool appropriate to collect information to answer your research question and fill out the column in your template.

• Check out the video and reflect if an online content analysis (social listening) provides appropriate or validating information to answer one of your research questions.

• If yes, apply the social listening decision tree you find on your template and decide what tools to use.

If, after watching the video, social listening is no longer an appropriate tool, state:

• Which alternative methods you would use?
• Why?
• What possible areas you could envision social listening to work?
