Roles

A trainer co-develops the content of the session with the training team of RNTC, designs the structure, and coordinates with other trainers. A trainer brings their unique expertise and perspective to the conversation, and actively engages participants where possible.

Participants are not passive listeners. More often than not, a session will bring together a range of experts who can contribute at a high level and who have the skillset to elevate your work to the next level. No matter the format, your session design should make the best use of the knowledge and perspectives in the room.

A technical moderator handles the technical support aspects of bringing a session online, including but not limited to: managing or restricting access, sharing online tools, solving technical issues and tracking the session timing.

A facilitator is responsible for guiding the discussion and interaction within the session. Sometimes, but not always, this role is covered by either the trainer or the technical moderator.
